Treadmill time

This morning I hit the treadmill for my scheduled 6 mile tempo run. Instead of my usual warm-up, 4 tempo miles and cool down I changed it up by incorporating intervals.

I completed a .25 mile interval at 8.0, followed by .25 mile recovery at 7.0 - repeated eight times! Needless to say, my heart was pumping.

Including my one mile warm-up and cool down, today’s total was 6.0 miles in 51 minutes - I’ll take it!
