Recognizing the small things
Being married is lovely but sometimes, it is easy to get caught up in our daily routine of working, going to the gym, taking care of the dog, etc… that we sometimes forget to appreciate what we do for each other.
MT has been away a lot lately and I’m starting to realize he does a lot more around the house than I give him credit for. In particular, dealing with the garbage, composting and recycling, shoveling the driveway and sidewalk and putting gas in the car. They aren’t huge things but they definetley make my life easier.
My new goal is to recognize and acknowledge the small things that my husband does for me and our life. After all, they all add up to one big thing - a happy marriage.

My husband and I always make sure to thank each other for the things/chores we do, on daily bases. It makes us appreciate and respect each other and I believe it is one of the things that makes our marriage really strong.
