I am walking (hobbling!) proof that one’s fitness level really can decrease in just two weeks. Despite all of the walking that I did in Europe my quads, biceps and chest are screaming after returning to my regular workout routine. Note, I have only done two workouts so far!
On a related note, my stomach is so happy to be eating a lot less cheese and a lot more kale. As I’ve said before, large amounts of gluten and dairy can really upset my body but there was no way that I was avoiding them in Europe, YOLO!
